Strawberry Glaze

Ingredients

• 1 cup strawberries, mashed
• 1 cup sugar
• 3tbsp corn starch
• 3/4 cup water

Preparation

1. Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan
2. Stir in water and mashed berries
3. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly
4. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly
5. Remove from heat, transfer to a bowl and cool for 15 minutes

For more color, add a few drops of red food coloring between steps 3 and 4.
