Roasted Broccoli With Parmesan

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds broccoli, cut into florets of even size
  • 3-4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Juice from half a lemon, about 1tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, or to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees fahrenheit
  • Toss broccoli and garlic with olive oil, lemon juice, salt
  • Arrange florets in a single layer on a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Roast for 20 minutes
  • Toss with parmesan and black pepper
  • Serve immediately
